You will see from the calendar that we can usually offer 'short breaks' that can vary in length
with 3 nights the minimum, however we try to be as flexible as possible and provide good value per person.

For even more flexible per-bed-per-night budget accommodation we can also offer the tiny Lazy Duck bunkhouse/hostel which sleeps up to 6 as individuals sharing or up to 8 if you book as a party (min 6 places for a private booking on weekdays, 8 at weekends). Open all year @ £15 / person / night inclusive of electricity, linen, logs for the stove and BBQ. Here below is what we have available in the Lazy Duck, but please note occupancy of the bunkhouse is quite separate from the cottage and we do not accept combined bookings, very sorry.
Alternatively, you could try our daughter Polly and son-in-law Ross at Dell of Abernethy Cottages on the south side of the River Nethy on the edge of the RSPB reserve. Charming period cottages set in spacious grounds.
OUR TERMS Please take note, when you initiate a booking you are accepting the terms and conditions set out below Prices include -all linen + towels and holiday cancellation insurance(details below) Electricity is charged for on meter readings, so no coins needed Telephone costs are charged according to automated calls back from BT at no extra charge and no coins needed Tenancy normally runs from 4.30pm Saturday until 10.00am Saturday, but can be flexible by arrangement. Maximum occupancy is 5 people (+cot) for which there is space in any of the three bedrooms. Occupancy of the cottage, the bunkhouse and the 4 pitch camping site are private and separate from each other, therefore no combined groups can be accepted, very sorry. A travel cot or high chair can be provided free of charge. Dogs must be negotiated for in advance of your reservation being confirmed. No charge is made for their stay, but we cannot accommodate more than one at a time. Visitors must undertake 1) to bring their own dog's bedding 2) not to leave their dog in the cottage when going out 3) to keep the cottage garden clean and 4) to pay for the cost of any accidental damage (see below) Breakages or damage to cottage or contents must be paid for either by agreement before your departure or at a later date on receipt of paperwork We clean thoroughly between lets, but because time is limited, we ask, as part of this booking agreement, that you leave the cottage as clean and tidy as possible. This is always greatly appreciated, however if you are concerned about this, we will accept a £20 cleaning deposit on entry. A non-returnable deposit of £100 per booking is required to secure a reservation, with the balance due one calendar month in advance of the holiday. We provide cancellation insurance at no extra charge to cover the value of this balance, right up to the date of your holiday, including pre-existing medical conditions and redundancy.
